RN - Registered Nurse - Ambulatory PreOp/PACU Part-Time

• Status: Part-Time
• Shift: Variable, Mondays-Fridays

Summary:

The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

• RN is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
• RN acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members.
• RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer at least 1 year of Critical Care or PACU experience as an RN. RN PACU experience is strongly preferred for consideration. This is a Part-Time position set for 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period.

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular)
• PALS, if required
• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Bachelor's Nursing Preferred
• Or Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma

Experience:

• Required 2 years acute care experience or 2 year Interventional/Procedural experience
• Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.

Specific Skills:
