Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Role Overview
Provide critical care to patients in a combined SICU (16 beds) and MICU (16 beds)
Manage 1:1 to 1:2 patient ratios
Administer and titrate critical drips (e.g., Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Insulin)
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms independently
Work collaboratively with intensivists, hospitalists, RTs, and care teams
Patient Types
Cardiac (CABG, STEMI)
Neurological (CVA, hemorrhage, neuro surgery)
Medical (DKA, septic shock, respiratory failure, GI bleeds)
Additional Details
Charting System: EPIC
Floating required to nearby ICUs (Meridian & Nampa Medical Centers)
Orientation: 24 hours (1 2 shifts unit-specific)
No call/standby requirement
