- Status: Full Time
- Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
- Every other weekend requirement
- On Call: No
- Always in person
This position may be available for the Critical Care Internship Program, however availability is subject to change based on current openings and staffing capacity.

Requirements

- RN: Registered Nurse License
- Diploma, Associates, Bachelors, or Higher in Nursing
- 2-years RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
- BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
Registered Nurse - ICU Responsibilities and Skills

- Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
- Monitor record and update care team on patient vitals and assessments
- Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patients medical condition
- Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
- Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
- High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
