- Hiring Process: Profile Review: Profile Review with MedSol Clinical, Interview with Unit manager at facility
- Radius: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted
- Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote
Unit Cath Lab RN

#cases per day on average 4 (combo of cath and IR)
Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS
Common diagnoses/Types of patients STEMI, NSTEMI, pacemakers. Also have IR patients as we are a combined lab.
Job Duties circulate and monitor cases, pre and post procedure, pre procedure and post procedure patient calls.
Experience or 'Must have' skills Cath experience a must, IR experience or willing to learn would be preferred
EMR/Equipment Epic, MacLab, Siemens
Cardiologist hours/on call Cardiologist in house during the day and on call over night
Manager/Charge Nurse Manager Tara Horne Nurse Coordinator John Crane
Cath Lab Techs ?
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) RN's work 4 9 hour shifts per week
Weeknight/Call Requirements some week night call approx 10 per month
Weekend/Call Requirements Friday, Saturday, Sunday call about every 3rd weekend
Holiday/Call Requirements holiday call is required, but is shared amongst the staff. 1 major summer and 1 major winter
What is call response time? 30 minutes
Floating Requirements If an extreme need could float within zone 3: LUH, OCH, SAH, SAN
Scrub Color/Dress Code provided blues
Unit/Department specific orientation orientation done over a couple of days during the week after CSH orientation
