RN (Registered Nurse) Psych (Evening Shift)

Immediate Registered Nurse (RN) contract/travel opportunity with our Hospital-Psych facility in Las Vegas, NM.

Pay Rate:

• $2,600/week (travel pay package if qualified)
• $60.00/hr (local candidate pay rate)

Available Work Schedule:

• 1:00pm - 11:00pm (Evenings)
• 4x10 shifts per week
• 40 hours guaranteed

Contract Term: 13 weeks to start (extension likely)

Job Details

• Provides nursing care to the residents on the nursing unit within the framework of the medical and nursing care plan, the policies of the Department and, under the supervision of a professional nurse.
• Monitors the residents closely to identify response to treatments, medication and/or changes in health status.
• Provides treatments to the residents according to the medical and nursing care plan and consistent with the policies of the Department.
• Prepares and dispenses medication to the residents according to the medical plan of care and consistent with the policies of the Department.
• Directly assists with the resident's activities of daily living, including direct care, observation of status and changes and supervision of non-professional staff.

Qualifications

• Valid RN License
• One year of healthcare experience working in a psychiatric care setting required
