This Emergency Dept Registered Nurse opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient flexible night shift schedule. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting, participates in hiring of staff. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/Director/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care. Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy. Uses triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients.
