JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Supervises RNs, LPNs, NAs, UCs and other Patient Care Services employees under the direction of a preceptor or mentor ; responsible to Clinical Manager.
DEFINITION OF POSITION
The nursing residency is designed to integrate new graduate RN's into the practice of nursing enabling them to provide high quality patient-family centered care that embraces the art and science of nursing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the end of the transition to practice part of the nurse residency.
Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
