Position Highlights

The Registered Nurse is primarily responsible to provide holistic patient care by assessing the patient, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans and patient care.  Accepts accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients in all areas of the hospital (including trauma patients). 

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of an accredited associate, diploma, or BSN program. 
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, but not required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Current valid Iowa RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certification within one year of employment.
• Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved.
• Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
