**? About the Role**
The **1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN)** provides individualized, student-centered care within the school environment. You'll oversee the nursing process, follow physician orders, and ensure all services align with district and Amergis Healthcare standards. This role is perfect for an RN who thrives in a supportive school setting and enjoys making a direct, meaningful impact on a student's daily well-being.
**?? Student Assignment**
You will support a **high-school female student** who requires:
+ Tube feeding
+ Seizure monitoring
+ Wheelchair support
+ Toileting assistance
This is a compassionate, relationship-driven role where consistency and attentiveness matter.
**?? What You'll Do**
+ **Deliver individualized nursing care** based on physician orders
+ Monitor and respond to seizure activity
+ Administer tube feedings safely and accurately
+ Assist with mobility and wheelchair transfers
+ Provide toileting and personal care support
+ Communicate regularly with the SPED team, school staff, and family
+ Ensure care aligns with district and Amergis standards
**?? Minimum Requirements**
+ Active **Registered Nurse (RN)** license in the state of practice
+ One year of school nursing experience preferred
+ Pediatric experience preferred
+ Compliance with all professional nursing standards
+ CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB test or chest X-ray (as required)
+ Health certificate (as required)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years old
**?? Compensation**
+ **Local RN Rate:** $51/hour
