The **School Registered Nurse (RN)** plays a crucial role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of students. In this position, you will oversee the nursing process within a school environment, respond to medical needs, manage chronic conditions, and serve as a trusted liaison between families, school staff, and healthcare providers. **? What You'll Do**
+ Deliver direct nursing care to students in accordance with physician orders
+ Respond to medical emergencies and urgent health concerns
+ Manage chronic health conditions and medication administration
+ Promote health, safety, and wellness across the school community
+ Maintain accurate documentation and follow nursing standards of practice
+ Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and healthcare providers
+ Support students' overall well-being in the school setting
**?? Minimum Requirements**
+ Active **Registered Nurse (RN)** license in the state of employment
+ Bachelor's degree preferred
+ School Nurse Certification (as required by state or contract)
+ One year of school nursing, public health, or pediatric experience preferred
+ Compliance with all professional nursing standards
+ Current CPR (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years old
