Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Location: Monongah, WV
Shift: Variable Shifts | 8-Hour, 12-Hour & 16-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 32 Hours per Week
Duration: 13 Weeks
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility assignment in Monongah, West Virginia. This role is ideal for nurses committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive long-term care environment.

The RN will provide skilled nursing services, support residents’ daily healthcare needs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents based on individualized care plans

  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed

  • Assess, monitor, and document residents’ physical and emotional conditions

  • Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams

  • Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges

  • Educate residents and family members on care plans, medications, and treatments

  • Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and independence

  • Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

  • Previous LTC, SNF, or nursing home experience preferred

  • Current BLS certification required

  • Strong assessment, medication administration, and patient care skills

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach

  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
