    Position: RN Staff Development Manager

    Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time

    Location: Charlotte, NC 28210

    Position Summary:

    The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting a hospitality focused RN Staff Development Manager to join our Independent Living Home Care team! This position is responsible for oversight of orienting, evaluating, educating, training and supervising Home Care staff to enhance each of our members' quality of life in providing dignity and respect in full recognition of resident-centered care.

    • Lead Training & Development: Create and deliver engaging orientation programs, quarterly in-services, and ongoing education for Home Care CNAs.
    • Supervise & Mentor: Provide hands-on guidance, performance evaluations, and coaching to maintain high standards of care.
    • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Monitor documentation, licensure, and adherence to North Carolina Home Care regulations.
    • Provide Direct Care When Needed: Step in for medication management and nursing care to support members.
    • Champion Best Practices: Audit charting weekly, maintain meticulous records, and foster a culture of accountability.
    • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Director of Home Care and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 RN availability.
    • Engage Families & Members: Offer education, counseling, and reassurance to enhance the member experience.

    Qualifications:

    • Licensed RN in NC or compact state; CPR/BLS certified.
    • 2+ years of RN experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of nursing principles and NC Home Care regulations.
    • Excellent communication and public speaking skills for group education.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable creating training materials.
    • A collaborative leader who thrives in a resident-focused, hospitality-driven environment.
