Position Overview

Are you an experienced Stepdown, PCU, IMC, or Telemetry RN looking for your next travel assignment? This is an exciting 13-week night-shift opportunity for a confident critical-care nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will have strong Stepdown/Telemetry experience, with ICU experience highly valued. You’ll work alongside a collaborative clinical team caring for patients who require close monitoring and a higher level of nursing care than traditional Med-Surg.

Unit & Patient Ratios

• Med-Surg: 1 RN to 4–6 patients

• SCU/Stepdown: 1 RN to a maximum of 4 patients

• Typical SCU assignment: 2–3 patients

• Provide continuous assessment, telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and comprehensive nursing care

• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition

Requirements

• Active RN license

• BLS ,**ACLS ,**NIHSS – Required

• Stepdown, PCU, IMC, SCU, or Telemetry experience preferred

• ICU experience is a strong plus

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week

• 36 hours/week

• Weekend and holiday coverage required

• Block scheduling may be accommodated

• Weekend-only scheduling may be considered for the right candidate
