Assesses and prioritizes patient care needs. Performs and delegates nursing interventions. Assigns available staff to best meet the needs of the patients. Communicates effectively with providers to inform them of changing patient needs, receives and implements new orders. In the absence of administration serves as administrative authority and clinical coordinator to all services related to the care of patients, activities of staff and control of environment in the living center for a tour of duty.
