The Registered Nurse Supervisor in Psychiatric care oversees nursing staff and ensures the delivery of high-quality consumer care within a behavioral health facility. This role involves managing clinical operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for consumers with mental health and substance use disorders.
Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
Must have a functional knowledge of the Baker and Marchman Acts.
Administers and transcribe medications as ordered by the physician
Advises Nurse Administrator(s) in matters of concern to nursing care and consumer needs.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards in mental health
Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
Address consumer and family concerns and facilitate communication.
