ResponsibilitiesThe Dialysis Shift Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who is accountable for coordination of all care for a specific patient population on an assigned shift, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of Baptist St. Anthony's. The Shift Supervisor also has managerial responsibilities including, but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, employment development, budget, and performance improvement activities. QualificationsJob Requirements: High School (or GED equivalent) diploma. Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. Current License to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification. Preferred Job Requirements: Prior supervisory experience in clinical specialty. Previous experience providing nursing care to patients on acute dialysis. Demonstrates leadership and management skills in a healthcare environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
