The Registered Nurse Supervisor in Psychiatric care oversees nursing staff and ensures the delivery of high-quality consumer care within a behavioral health facility. This role involves managing clinical operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned shift, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and procedures.
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for consumers with mental health and substance use disorders
Ensures continuity of care when admitting, discharging, referring, or transferring a consumer
Supervises and implements admission protocols for services
Administers and transcribe medications as ordered by the physician
Must have functional knowledge of the Baker Act and Marchman Acts
Proficiency in assessment and crisis intervention techniques.
Managerial and supervisory skills are necessary
