    We are looking for skilled RNs to join our combined Surgical Cardiac Progressive Care and Neuroscience unit at our downtown Fresno campus! In this 47-bed unit, you will care for a diverse patient population with various surgical cardiac comorbidities, including post-open heart, Left Ventricular Assist Device, Pulmonary Hypertension trauma, and more! You should be a self-motivated team player eager to learn and ready to contribute to the efforts of this close-knit team.     As the region's flagship hospital, this USCF academic-affiliated facility is home to the only Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke and Comprehensive Burn Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento — serving as the area's "safety net provider" and covering nine counties. We are the only health system with the expertise and cutting-edge technology to handle the most challenging, complex cases in the Central Valley.     Qualifications:

    Education & Experience 

    • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required 
    • Consistent demonstration of competent clinical nursing practice proficiency required 

      

    Licenses and Certifications  

    • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required 
    • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
