The Registered Nurse (RN) cares for ill, injured, or convalescing patients/residents or persons with disabilities in a skilled nursing setting. The Registered Nurse assess patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, and advises patients/residents on health maintenance and disease prevention, and provides overall case management. Registered Nurses direct and supervise the work of licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants.
