    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 4 years of Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor''s degree in Nursing

    LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

    • RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
    • Other certifications and competencies required based on service line skill

    The Telehealth Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality, evidence-based virtual nursing care through advanced telehealth technologies to support acute, progressive, and specialty patient populations across the continuum of care. The Tele Health RN serves as a clinical partner to bedside caregivers, providers, patients, and families by conducting virtual assessments, patient education, care coordination, safety monitoring, and clinical interventions that improve patient outcomes, enhance the patient experience, and support operational efficiency.

    The Telehealth RN leverages remote monitoring platforms, electronic health records, audiovisual communication technologies, clinical decision support tools, and standardized workflows to identify patient needs, intervene proactively, and facilitate timely escalation of care. This role requires advanced clinical judgment, critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple patients in a technology-enabled care environment. This position promotes patient safety, quality improvement, professional nursing practice, and innovation while supporting the strategic goals of INTEGRIS Health''s Virtual Care Programs.

    The Telehealth RN responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • • Conduct comprehensive virtual nursing assessments utilizing telehealth platforms and remote monitoring technologies. • Perform ongoing patient surveillance and evaluate physiologic data, clinical trends, and patient-reported concerns. • Identify actual and potential changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions and escalation pathways. • Collaborate with bedside teams, providers, care managers, and interdisciplinary partners to coordinate care delivery. • Support admissions, discharges, transfers, patient education, medication reconciliation, and care transitions as defined by program workflows. • Provide virtual patient and family education that promotes engagement, safety, and self-management. • Facilitate patient-centered care plans and ensure appropriate implementation of nursing interventions. • Support integration of emerging technologies including AI-assisted monitoring, remote observation systems, and virtual nursing solutions. • Troubleshoot basic technology issues and collaborate with technical teams when escalation is required. • Maintain competency in telehealth technologies, workflows, and virtual care best practices. • Monitor available biometric, physiologic, and patient-reported information in accordance with INTEGRIS Health protocols. • Evaluate clinical trends and identify actual or potential changes in patient condition. • Recognize signs of clinical deterioration, safety concerns, or barriers to care and initiate appropriate interventions. • Communicate changes in patient status promptly to bedside caregivers, providers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. • Activate established escalation pathways when patient needs exceed the scope of the virtual nursing workflow or require immediate bedside evaluation. • Use sound clinical judgment to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a technology-enabled care environment. • Maintain situational awareness and support timely coordination of care during rapidly changing or complex clinical situations.

    • Roles and Responsibilities: • Utilize telehealth platforms, video communication tools, EHR workflows, and clinical decision-support resources effectively. • Monitor available biometric, physiologic, and patient-reported information in accordance with INTEGRIS Health protocols. • Evaluate clinical trends and identify actual or potential changes in patient condition. • Recognize signs of clinical deterioration, safety concerns, or barriers to care and initiate appropriate interventions. • Communicate changes in patient status promptly to bedside caregivers, providers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. • Activate established escalation pathways when patient needs exceed the scope of the virtual nursing workflow or require immediate bedside evaluation. • Use sound clinical judgment to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a technology-enabled care environment. • Maintain situational awareness and support timely coordination of care during rapidly changing or complex clinical situations. • Collaborate with bedside nurses, providers, pharmacy, care management, therapy services, ancillary departments, and other interdisciplinary partners. • Maintain professional and respectful working relationships across departments, facilities, and disciplines. • Exhibiting sound clinical decision making and critical thinking skills • Maintain and practice in accordance with nursing guidelines per state and hospital regulations • Utilizing nursing knowledge to identify, prevent and/or solve complex acute and/or recurring patient care problems • Sharing expertise with the multidisciplinary team and serve as a resource to staff in area(s) of expertise • Supporting research efforts to advance knowledge and promote evidence-based practice • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Nurse Manager

    • Quality and Safety Responsibilities: • Promote professional nursing practice and a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements for Sentinel Events and Serious Incidents • Participate in quality and safety investigations and root cause analyses • Take appropriate action to ensure patient safety as a result of any investigation • Serve as a resource in quality improvement processes and technique • The Tele Health RN reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.
