Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Float Pool position. The RN will provide safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care across various units while working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and holistic patient assessments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes or abnormal findings.
- Administer and delegate nursing care according to physician orders and hospital policies.
- Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and provide effective handoffs.
- Initiate discharge planning and coordinate appropriate referrals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Ohio RN License or Compact License required.
- BLS (American Heart Association) required.
- Diploma of Nursing required.
- BSN preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to provide age- and culturally appropriate patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse healthcare environment.
