What Youll Do
Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients, utilizing the nursing process.
Monitor and assess patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respond promptly to changes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Effectively communicate and delegate tasks to licensed and ancillary staff.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital protocols.
Uphold compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards.
What You Need Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least 2 years of overall nursing experience
Proficiency with electrocardiograms, cardiac monitoring, and relevant medical software
Preferred:
Experience in telemetry, cardiovascular, or critical care units
Certification in clinical specialty areas
Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills
