Job Title: Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location: Lubbock, TX
Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours Per Week
Pay: $1,600/week - $2,000/week (Based on Eligibility and Experience)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Telemetry for an exciting Contract job in Lubbock, TX.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Document patient conditions and responses to treatment accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Respond effectively to changes in patient conditions and emergencies.
Float to other appropriate units based on facility needs.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled.
Strong telemetry and acute care nursing experience.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience.
Experience caring for telemetry and cardiac-monitoring patients.
Ability to float between units when necessary.
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
First-time travelers welcome.
Experience working in high-acuity acute care settings.
Experience with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–5.
Licensure / Certification
Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
Additional certifications as required by the facility.
