Job Title: Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location: Lubbock, TX
Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours Per Week
Pay: $1,600/week - $2,000/week (Based on Eligibility and Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Telemetry for an exciting Contract job in Lubbock, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

  • Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Document patient conditions and responses to treatment accurately.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

  • Respond effectively to changes in patient conditions and emergencies.

  • Float to other appropriate units based on facility needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.

  • Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled.

  • Strong telemetry and acute care nursing experience.

  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital environment.

  • Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience.

  • Experience caring for telemetry and cardiac-monitoring patients.

  • Ability to float between units when necessary.

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • First-time travelers welcome.

  • Experience working in high-acuity acute care settings.

  • Experience with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–5.

Licensure / Certification

  • Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

  • Additional certifications as required by the facility.
