RN – Telemetry

Location: Bronx, NY 10467
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day/Night Shift
Pay Rate: $2,277–$2,959/Week (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Provide care for patients requiring conscious sedation.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow patient safety and infection control standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Active New York State RN License required.
• Primary Source Verification of NYS RN License and Registration required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
