- ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)
Mandatory Experience:- Shift: 8 weeks, Nights and every other weekend Stepdown Float: floating to CVSU, Cardiopulmonary, Heart and Vascular Step Down, Comp Med Step down, and Cardiology Tele Step down
- Required: 2+ years stepdown experience, experience with cardiac drips (amiodarone, Lasix, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, milrinone, etc.) must know how to interpret heart rhythms
- Preferred: experience with VAD, care of post open heart, cath, vascular surgery, and cardiac patients
