Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN - Unit Manager for a travel contract assignment. The Unit Manager will oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while supervising nursing staff and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff.
• Coordinate patient care and ensure quality clinical outcomes.
• Monitor compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure continuity of care.
• Promote a safe, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Pay Rate:$53.40 $62.30 per hour
