Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN - Unit Manager for a travel contract assignment. The Unit Manager will oversee daily nursing operations within an assigned unit while ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective staff leadership in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the assigned nursing unit
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff
• Ensure high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and care planning
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff performance
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and quality assurance standards
• Respond to patient care concerns and assist with complex clinical situations

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications may be required by the facility)
• Previous Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or nursing leadership experience preferred
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality patient care

Assignment Details

• Contract Length: 9 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly

• Start Date: 06/25/2026

Assignment Notes:

• Mandatory weekend on-call rotation every 4 weeks
• No more than 2 call-outs and no NCNS to remain eligible for the completion bonus
• ASAP starts available

Compensation

Pay Rate:$53.40 $62.30 per hour
