We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join a skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Ithaca, NY.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department.

• Provide professional leadership, guidance, and supervision to nursing staff.

• Help ensure appropriate and safe nursing coverage across the assigned unit.

• Monitor staff performance and promote accountability and adherence to established standards of care.

• Address employee concerns, complaints, and grievances in a professional and timely manner.

• Assist with progressive counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary.

• Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
