Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and organized RN Unit Manager for a contract assignment in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will oversee daily nursing operations within the assigned unit while ensuring high-quality resident care, staff coordination, and regulatory compliance.
This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with strong leadership abilities, excellent clinical judgment, and prior supervisory experience in long-term care environments.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support nursing staff on assigned unit
Coordinate resident care plans and clinical operations
Monitor patient conditions and ensure quality care delivery
Administer medications and oversee treatments as needed
Maintain compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
Assist with staffing coordination and workflow management
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support admissions, discharges, and resident care transitions

Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Previous unit management or supervisory nursing experience preferred
Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred

Ability to coordinate patient care and nursing operations effectively
Must comply with all facility onboarding and compliance requirements
