UPMC Travel Staffing is seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs with a minimum of two years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR experience to join our growing team. Candidates must be willing to work 40 hours per week and complete a minimum of 120 hours of on-call time per quarter.
As a UPMC Travel Staffing nurse, you'll benefit from professional flexibility and unique travel opportunities, including the possibility of rotating to a new hospital or unit every six weeks. Assignments are primarily within cardiovascular operating rooms across the UPMC system, offering exposure to diverse clinical environments. You'll build your expertise while collaborating with nationally recognized physicians and advanced practice providers-and expand your professional network across one of the nation's leading health systems.

Commitment to working 40 hours per week (80 hours per bi‑weekly pay period, including:
Day shifts
Night shifts
Weekend shifts
Holiday shifts
Willingness to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, based on unit needs
Minimum of 120 on‑call hours per quarter required
Travel & Assignment Expectations
Ability to travel to all UPMC facilities across Pennsylvania, including (but not limited to:
Southwest and Northwest Pennsylvania and New York
Central and West Central Pennsylvania and Maryland
North Central Pennsylvania
After six months of employment, additional travel required to:
UPMC Chautauqua (NY or
UPMC Western Maryland,
depending on second‑state licensure

Active Registered Nurse (RN license required
Pennsylvania RN license required upon hire
New York or Maryland RN license required within six months of hire
Current licensure must be valid in the state where the facility is located, or through a multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC license.
Nurses who change residency to a state where the facility is located must apply for licensure in that state within 60 days of residency change.
