RN Weekend On Call Surgery

34 Hour per week

• Week 1: Friday work 12 hours, Saturday 24-hour call
• Week 2: Sunday 24-hour call, Monday work 12 hours

Job Summary: Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established organizational standards, patient care services department / unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals, and objectives of perioperative services.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license required. BLS required. ACLS required. Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred. Certification in area of expertise preferred.

 EXPERIENCE: Two years of recent surgery experience working as an RN in an Operating Room required.
