RN - Wound Care-Greeley-CO-Pay Negotiable

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients with acute and chronic wounds, including assessment, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of complications. Develops individualized wound care plans and works closely with physicians and the healthcare team to support healing and patient outcomes.

Education & Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.

• 1–2 years of wound care, medical-surgical, or acute care nursing experience preferred.

• Experience with wound assessment and treatment is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

• BLS certification required.

• Wound care certification such as WCC, CWCN, or CWOCN preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and document wound type, location, size, drainage, tissue condition, and healing progress.

• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on patient needs.

• Perform wound treatments, dressing changes, and other prescribed therapies.

• Monitor patients for infection, skin breakdown, and other wound-related complications.

• Educate patients and families on wound care, skin protection, nutrition, and prevention strategies.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
