URGENT NEED – RNFA (Perioperative Services)

Facility: Adventist Health Sierra Vista
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Setting: Acute Care Hospital | 162 Beds

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating 5x8s | Monday–Friday

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Call Requirement:

• Minimum 2 call shifts weekly

• Every 3rd weekend required

Pay: $78 – $80/hr
Weekly Gross: $3,120 – $3,200/week

Requirements & Credentials

• Active California RN License required

• RNFA experience required (minimum 2 years)

• ACLS required

• BLS required

• PALS required

• CNOR preferred

• Experience in spine, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries required

• Operating Room experience required

• Associate Degree in Nursing required

• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures

• Maintain sterile surgical environment and aseptic technique

• Prepare and position surgical patients safely

• Support perioperative patient care and documentation

• Handle surgical equipment, tissue logs, and biohazard materials appropriately

• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams during procedures
