Job Title: Road Construction Project Manager/Senior Civil Engineer Location: Marietta, GA Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in heavy road/highway construction and/or multi-use trail projects. This position will work under the supervision of a Georgia-registered Professional Engineer (PE).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering (MANDATORY)
5+ years of experience managing road infrastructure projects
Proficiency with MS Project and Bluebeam/AutoCAD
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet stringent deadlines
EIT exam passed is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate all construction operations
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality control
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors
Purchase construction materials
Prepare subcontractor agreements
Prepare project submittals
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines
Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed
Prepare pay applications and invoices
Review and approve invoices from subcontractors and suppliers
Locate and research public bid opportunities for potential projects that align with company capabilities
Interpret drawings and technical documents to prepare project estimates
Complete bid takeoffs by estimating the material, equipment, and labor quantities required to complete proposed projects
Perform unit price cost analysis
Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
Maintain and update the construction-related materials pricing database
Coordinate the preparation of bid proposal packages
Prepare estimate summaries for bids and complete bid documents
Attend bid openings and review post-bid information to ensure scopes of work are correct and accurate
