Job Summary

The Road Division Trades (Operators and Laborers) position supports road and highway construction projects by performing skilled trade and general labor tasks. The role involves operating construction equipment, assisting with site preparation, following safety procedures, and working collaboratively to complete infrastructure projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform road and highway construction duties.
• Operate construction equipment as assigned.
• Perform general labor tasks to support construction activities.
• Assist with site preparation, material handling, and project execution.
• Follow all safety regulations and job site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with construction crews to complete assigned work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional job-related duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in construction, equipment operation, or general labor is preferred.
• Ability to safely operate construction equipment (for Operator roles).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
• Knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Union membership required at the time of hire or within the applicable timeframe.
