A Road Logistics Cross Dock Team Leader manages the rapid, efficient transfer of freight from inbound to outbound trailers to minimize storage time in freight forwarding. You will oversee dock personnel, enforces strict safety protocols, and utilizes logistics software to ensure Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments meet transit schedules

How you create impact

• Supervise daily inbound unloading, sorting, and outbound loading, ensuring strict "window time" conformance
• Train, mentor, and schedule dock workers. Delegate tasks based on inbound and outbound volume.
• Enforce OSHA, DOT, and internal security protocols (e.g., C-TPAT), and lead regular incident investigations.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as loading times, productivity rates, and OS&D (Over, Short, Damaged) freight.
• Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS) to track shipments and generate reports
• Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure accurate inventory records and proper handling of products.
• Monitor inventory levels and reduce excess inventory
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and logistics processes.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Resolve operational issues, address customer inquiries, and manage exceptions to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.

What we would like you to bring

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is often preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is needed
• 4+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or freight operations, with at least 2 year in a leadership role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel) and familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS, or TMS)
• C-TPAT experience is needed
• Comfortable in travelling to Mexico once in 2 Months and flexible in extending working hours
