Position: Road Service AgentSchedule: M - F 7AM - 4PMPay: $27.00/hr - $30.00/hrLocation: West Valley City, UTJob requirements may include, but not be limited to:
Be a professional resource to aid in the Safety of our DriversMechanical experience required; experience with trucks, trailers, or reefers is strongly preferredReduce driver and equipment downtime by accurately diagnosing equipment breakdowns and utilizing the appropriate vendorsCommunicate with Operations, Repair Facilities, and our Drivers to successfully execute a Road CallAccurately diagnose equipment breakdowns and make safe and cost-effective decisionsUtilize in-house repair facilities to reduce costsEffectively answer high volumes of phone calls in a clear and professional mannerMaintain a high-level of emotional intelligenceNegotiate with repair vendors to reduce costs while meeting DOT expectationsAbility to understand and execute company/vendor expectationsCapable of utilizing multiple screens and programs to update repair order notesUse all available resources to solve complicated situationsApply DOT regulations to your repair decisionsUtilize our Warranty Team to reduce unnecessary repair costs
Job Qualifications may include, but not limited to:
Team OrientedProficiency with Microsoft Suite programs is a mustExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient typing skillsEnjoy working with driversAbility to solve multiple complex situations simultaneouslyEfficient with administration tasksHave a passion for coachingAbility to be a supportive listenerBe willing to support and assist in overload work situations, including flexibility with breaks and lunch hour.Open to supporting the team by working a holiday or covering while a team member is enjoying their vacationPossess a strong home internet for approved work from home daysProven ability to work under pressureStrong negotiatorDOT Safety or Compliance knowledge is a plusCommercial vehicle and or mechanical knowledge is a plusAbility to have FUN
