MV Transportation is seeking a motivated Road Supervisor to support our paratransit operations in Anchorage, Alaska. This field-based leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service while supporting operators, promoting a strong safety culture, and maintaining compliance with company, client, DOT, and FTA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily street operations to ensure safe, reliable, and on-time service.
- Conduct ride checks, gate checks, field observations, and service audits.
- Respond to accidents, incidents, passenger concerns, and service disruptions.
- Support safety initiatives through coaching, observations, and policy compliance.
- Coordinate with Dispatch and Maintenance to resolve operational issues.
- Complete reports, investigations, and required documentation.
- Monitor operator compliance with licensing, uniforms, and company policies.
- Fill driving assignments when needed to maintain service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Transportation or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of ADA transportation requirements.
- Experience with accident investigations, employee coaching, or safety programs.
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and enter/exit transit vehicles throughout the day.

Qualifications:
What you will bring:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous supervisory experience in public transportation, paratransit, or a related transportation environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of transportation operations and safety practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
- Strong organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to meet all MV Transportation and client qualification requirements.
