Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Roadway Engineer Intern to join our team! In this role you will get to contribute to large-scale engineering projects and gain practical experience in a highway and roadway design. By joining Parsons, you'll be part of our well-established Internship Program with 170+ interns nationwide. This internship offers a unique opportunity to build real-world experience, make a meaningful impact on our organization and communities, and take important steps toward advancing your career.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with the geometric design of highways and roadways, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, superelevation diagrams, gore details, vertical clearance calculations, and grading plans.
• Perform material quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and field surveys as required.
• Use design software and CAE/CAD applications to develop and implement project designs.
• Provide technical guidance and input to CAD drafters, designers, and other engineers working on the project team.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support project delivery.

What Required Qualifications You'll Bring:

• Must be enrolled in an Engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university have completed typically 1+ year of studies in a major Engineering discipline.

Salary Range: $22.93 - $40.14
