ROBOT ENGINEER
The Robot Engineer will become an expert during the development of a new business unit and will be responsible for the support, documentation, and development of the product.
Responsibilities:
Visit customer facilities to observe and document potential applications.
Evaluate customer application feasibility.
Design, setup, and execute customer application tests.
Maintain several internal and external documents.
Assist Customer Service department and customer directly.
Assist production department during robot setup, if needed.
Evaluate new robot software and document issues.
Participate in design development activities.
Stay up to date with market trends and products changes.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of a Bachelors degree within an engineering discipline.
Focus toward robotics or mechatronics is a plus.
Electrical design experience is preferable.
Android application development experience is a plus.
Five years of experience with one or more of the following:
Product development
Robot system integration
Electrical interface design
Robot programming
Experience working on-site at customer facility.
