Position Summary

\n

We are seeking a full-time, hands-on Robot Manufacturing Technician to join our Product Development team in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the assembly, testing, and process improvement of the ErthBot product line — robotic systems designed to clean and maintain utility-scale solar arrays (https://erthos.com/energy-guard/).

This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys building, problem-solving, and optimizing processes. You will work closely with R&D, Product Development, and Quality teams to assemble production-ready ErthBots, create clear documentation, and ensure best-in-class manufacturing practices. Because this is an extremely hands-on position, this will be an in-office role working five days a week in our Chandler, Arizona development center.

Key Responsibilities

\n

·       Assemble and test ErthBot robotic systems, applying strong mechanical and basic electrical knowledge.

\n

·       Develop and maintain clear assembly documentation, workflow instructions, and inspection procedures.

\n

·       Collaborate with Quality to establish ISO 9001–compliant inspection processes.

\n

·       Contribute to user service manual development and technical documentation.

\n

·       Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.

\n

·       Support warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

\n

·       Provide accurate manufacturing data and feedback to cross-functional teams.

\n

·       Maintain a safe, organized, and collaborative work environment.

\n

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

·       Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly experience.

\n

·       Familiarity with mechanical fabrication tools (hand tools, drill press, chop saws, angle grinders, etc).

\n

·       Experience in using electrical troubleshooting tools (multimeters, ammeters).

\n

·       Experience soldering, crimping, assembling electrical connectors and harnesses.

\n

·       Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.

\n

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

\n

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

\n

·       Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

\n

·       Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications / Bonus Points For:

\n

·       Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.

\n

·       Basic electronics troubleshooting (wiring, connectors, sensors).

\n

·       Experience welding (TIG/MIG).

\n

·       Familiarity tuning and troubleshooting brushless DC motors.

\n

·       Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods.

\n

·       Experience writing technical assembly or service documentation.

\n

·       ERP/MRP system knowledge (inventory or production tracking).

\n

·       Forklift certification (current or prior).

\n

·       Awareness of safety and EHS practices in a manufacturing setting.

\n

Location & Travel

\n

Due to the hands-on nature of this position, all work will be performed five days a week, on-site at the Erthos Product Development Center in Chandler, AZ. 

\n

Travel is expected to be minimal (less than 10%).

\n

\n

Compensation & Benefits

\n

·       Our base salary will be commensurate with your level of experience. We are targeting a base salary of approximately $60,000 - $75,000.

\n
