ROBOT PROGRAMMER A

Epitec is seeking to hire a Robot Programmer A to support a major Tier-1 automation integrator for large OEMs and suppliers on a short-term contract basis.

Location: Louisville, KY
Shift: Standard Day Shift (may vary based on project needs)
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Duration: 1–3 months (project-based)
Pay Range: Market Rate
Work Environment: Fully Onsite

We are looking for experienced Robot Programmers to support the installation of new P833 Suspension Cells. This project requires strong hands-on expertise with Fanuc robotics and 3DV programming in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, install, and commission Fanuc robots (MH applications, fastening robots)
• Perform Fanuc 3DV programming and simulation
• Support installation and launch of suspension cell systems
• Troubleshoot and optimize robotic processes and electrical systems
• Interpret engineering data to resolve design and production issues
• Modify and test prototypes, assemblies, and electrical systems
• Conduct quality inspections and document findings
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to solve technical challenges
• Support electrical system installation, calibration, and maintenance

Required Skills & Experience:

• Fanuc Robot Programming (must have)
• Fanuc 3DV experience (must have)
• COMAU robot programming experience
• Electrical system troubleshooting, calibration, and repair
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or OEM/Tier 1 environment
• Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills

Preferred:

• Prior suspension or fastening cell experience
• Commissioning and launch support experience
• Supervisory or lead experience on robotics projects
