Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Robotics, or related field
Minimum 3–5+ years of industrial automation and robot programming experience
Experience with:
ABB robot programming (RAPID)
FANUC robot programming (Teach Pendant / TP / KAREL preferred)
Staubli robot programming (VAL3)
Rockwell PLCs (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000)
Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal, Step 7, S7 platforms)
Experience with industrial communication protocols:
Ethernet/IP
Profinet
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and controls systems
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with vision systems
Experience with servo and motion control systems
HMI programming experience
Experience with robotic welding, material handling, assembly, or machine tending applications
Knowledge of safety systems and standards
Experience with system integration projects
Key Responsibilities
Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robotic systems including ABB, FANUC, and Staubli robots
Develop, modify, and optimize robot programs for automated manufacturing and assembly applications
Program and support PLC systems using Rockwell and Siemens platforms
Design, develop, and troubleshoot HMI and automation interfaces
Perform robot and controls integration, startup, commissioning, and validation
Debug system issues related to robotics, PLCs, I/O networks, sensors, and motion systems
Support equipment installations and production launches
Work with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams during project execution
Optimize cycle times and improve system performance
Create and maintain technical documentation and backups
Provide support for existing automated systems and production equipment
