What You Can Expect

Responsible for performing all robotic and hand polishing/buffing operations on Zimmer Biomet products using abrasive belts, buffs, compounds, and greases to attain the required cosmetic and blueprint specifications on the product.

How You'll Create Impact

• Load and unload parts in the Robots.
• Change belts and wheel as necessary for proper finish
• Maintain all equipment in the department as is required.
• Do final buff for parts requiring additional work after robots finish.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Proficient in performing inspection of products using micrometers, calipers, comparator and gauges.
• Capable of working without close supervision.
• Work in a team/cellular environment.

Your Background

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have one year experience of orthopedic polishing or buffing using a variety of metals; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Robotic CNC experience preferred.
• Certified inspection techniques within 30 days of start.
