This is a full-time, onsite position located in Mountain View, CA at our automotive client's advanced robotics facility. Req.#971139120
Responsibilities
Assemble, modify, and maintain robotic platforms and experimental test setups Support daily robotics lab operations to ensure systems are organized, functional, and test-ready Assist engineers with robot setup, calibration, and hands-on troubleshooting Prepare hardware and environments for robotics testing and teleoperation workflows Manage lab inventory including robotic components, tools, and equipment Perform basic electrical wiring, cable routing, and system power checks Collaborate closely with robotics engineers during testing and data collection activities Maintain operational logs and documentation for experiments and equipment usage Help uphold lab safety standards and contribute to a safe experimentation environment
Requirements
Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field Experience working with electromechanical, robotic, or automated systems (academic or professional) Ability to read and interpret CAD models or layout drawings Comfortable performing hands-on mechanical assembly and repetitive lab tasks Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures Familiarity with lab safety practices and equipment handling Organizational skills for managing hardware and inventory

Exposure to robotics labs, manufacturing environments, or automation systems Experience with teleoperation or remotely controlled robotic systems Basic electrical or wiring experience Personal or academic robotics projects
