Robotic Paint Shop Automation Technician

Job Description

Pay Range: $43.00hr - $47.00hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Online robot programming for Sealer, UBC, and Dampening including running trials, adjusting parameters, evaluating quality drawings, and meeting standards.
  • Online robot programming for Primer, Base, and Clear including running trials, adjusting parameters, evaluating quality drawings, and meeting standards.
  • Offline robot programming using simulation software to create robot programs, perform reach studies, and complete cycle time analysis.
  • Evaluate quality using elco-meters, wave-scan, and X-Rite.
  • Create handover documents and snapshots of robot processes for manufacturing facilities.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office for effective written and verbal communication.

  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects.
  • Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate's Degree.
  • 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience.

Added Bonus:

  • Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications.
  • PLC Programming (Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron, etc.).
  • Experience with Digital Engineering (Catia, Delmia, Solidworks, Inventor).
  • Additional related certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
