Summary of Essential Functions
  • The RPA Automation Engineer Intern will be responsible for collaborating with the Robot Process Automation Engineer to develop RPA scripts using Automation Anywhere to enhance business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with various departments to develop and implement efficient automated processes using Intelligent Automation Technology.
  • Assist with improving business processes and services by specializing in Intelligent Automation technologies.
  • Support full lifecycle implementation of automation projects, including building prototypes, validating scripts, and training end users.
  • Assist the RPA Engineer with designing solutions using best practices and maintaining technical responsibility for project delivery.
  • Identify automation blockers and enablers, and articulate them to stakeholders
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Integration and Adoption with clinical integration and adoption initiatives.
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Any experience in Process Automation, Intelligent Automation, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, or Application Development, highly preferred
  • Proficiency in python scripting, highly preferred
  • Hands-on work-related experience in designing, delivering, and managing automation solutions, preferred
  • Experience in programming and software development or related automation, support, or maintenance role, preferred
  • Experience in data query, data processing, relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, preferred
  • Software troubleshooting skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
  • Curious and collaborative, comfortable working independently, as well as in a team
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with various levels of associates, maintaining a positive customer service focus
  • A confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
Physical Requirements
  • Primarily works the day shift; may be asked to work other hours as needed, including weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists with clinical integration and adoption initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with various departments to develop and implement high quality, efficient and repeatable automated processes firm-wide using Intelligent Automation Technology.
  • Specializing in technologies from leading Intelligent Automation (IA) vendors, the Automation Engineer is responsible for leading and helping businesses improve the efficiency of processes and effectiveness of their services.
  • Support full lifecycle implementation of automation projects (including building prototypes, validating script performance at scale, sharing demos of work completed, writing documentation and training end users on self-service tools within the platform)
  • Follows a predetermined set of organization-wide RPA standards.
  • Design solutions utilizing Intelligent Automation tools best practices and maintain technical responsibility for project delivery.
  • Identify automation blockers and enablers, as well as articulating them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Understand the risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with the Intelligent Automation Process.
  • Analyze requirements and develop proposals for technical solutions.
  • Create test plans and test scenarios and assist in the execution of those plans/scenarios.
  • Developing Automation workflows that include documentation, error checking, logging, security, and recoverability while focusing on scalability and extensibility.
  • Create and maintain a library of reusable components to use across the organization.
  • Articulate and present the business benefits and measurements of success of Intelligent Automation to a wide variety of stakeholders.
