The Robotic Welder II is responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding equipment, including setting up welding machines, monitoring the welding process, inspecting final products, and making necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards.

Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Hours: Day shift: MondayFriday, 6:00am2:30pm
Responsibilities:- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
- Install and repair various equipment and components.
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
- Program and maintain program accuracy, and efficiency in weld cells.
- Clean all areas on parts of debris before application of welds.
- Assemble parts according to provided drawings and specifications.
- Inspection of all welds to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Assure that 1st off/1st Part is inspected and meets Quality Assurance requirements.
- Removal of completed parts from work area and preparation for next production stage.
- Completion of data entry and/or paperwork as required.
- Basic maintenance of Welding and Set-Up equipment in addition to ensuring gas and wire as required for the following shift.
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards.
- Must notify lead hand and/or supervisors of all dysfunctional and/or unsafe equipment or work practices.
- Maintains safety awareness and be alert at all times, to detect, avoid, and/or correct unsafe conditions.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisors and Managers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Three (3) plus years of experience in welding, manufacturing or other related fields
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Familiarity with blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP system a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Proactive and results oriented mindset
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Strong capability of using available resources to complete tasks at hand
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to pass a Jaegar 2 vision exam with or without eyeglasses
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
