    About the Role:
    The 2nd Shift Robotic Welder is responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding systems to produce high-quality metal components in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on automated welding processes, equipment setup, and quality control while supporting production goals during second shift operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Operate robotic welding equipment to perform MIG and automated welds on metal components
    • Set up, program, and adjust robotic weld parameters to meet production specifications
    • Inspect welded parts to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met
    • Troubleshoot welding equipment and resolve minor mechanical or programming issues
    • Load and unload materials and maintain consistent production flow
    • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment
    • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience with robotic welding, MIG welding, or automated manufacturing equipment
    • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
    • Knowledge of welding processes, materials, and quality inspection methods
    • Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
    • Ability to work second shift and meet production demands

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with robotic programming systems such as Fanuc or ABB
    • Welding certification or technical training
    • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
