Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, your role is pivotal in enhancing the productivity and efficiency of our operations.

In this role, you will:
- Create and refine robotic welding programs for a variety of parts, facilitating the shift from manual to automated processes.
- Lead tool and program runoffs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to authorize parts for production.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with robotic welding systems, offering quick response production support.
- Conduct equipment setups, preventative maintenance, and provide ongoing support for welding cells.
- Analyze welding cell performance to enhance productivity.
- Partner with Tooling Design and Manufacturing Engineering to innovate fixtures.
- Drive automation opportunities and advocate for processes best suited for robotic welding.
- Cooperate with Quality Assurance to resolve process failures and implement improvements.
- Recommend design changes to boost manufacturability and overall efficiency.

We are looking for candidates with:
- A high school diploma or GED, plus 3+ years in robotic welding within a manufacturing setting, OR an associate’s degree or technical diploma in a relevant field with some robotic welding experience.
- Solid hands-on experience in robotic welding setup, programming, troubleshooting, and operation.
- Familiarity with systems like Fanuc, CLOOS, IGM, UR, or ABB.
- A capability to address mechanical, electrical, and programming challenges.
- A proven track record in enhancing cycle times and quality.
- Blueprint reading proficiency.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
